About me: As a photographer currently pursuing my studies at Arizona State University, my work encompasses street photography and documentary projects. My objective is to capture the essence of everyday life and the narratives that transpire within it. Series such as “Decaying Towns in the Eastern Plains” document the remnants of once-thriving communities, while “The Town is A-Boomin’” serves as a visual exploration of urban development. Through these projects, I endeavor to explore the intersection of culture, history, and transformation. My “Seascapes” and “Clouds” series reflect a fascination with the ephemeral beauty of natural environments. With my camera, I strive to narrate stories that may otherwise remain unheard, presenting viewers with novel perspectives on the world around them. My photography is guided by a passion for evoking emotions and igniting curiosity in the moments and spaces that often go unexamined.

This photographic composite brings together elements from two iconic New Mexico locations—Roswell and White Sands National Park—to explore themes of myth, mystery, and landscape. By placing alien figures, originally photographed in Roswell, into the surreal expanse of White Sands, the piece blurs the line between the fantastical and the real. It invites viewers to reconsider the cultural narratives tied to these places, transforming the desert into a stage where folklore and environment merge. This work is both a playful homage to New Mexico’s extraterrestrial lore and a meditation on the landscapes that shape our collective imagination.

This piece reimagines American Gothic with a sci-fi twist, blending classic Americana with cartoon space helmets and a surreal basketball backdrop. It’s a playful take on tradition, pop culture, and the idea of home, wherever that might be.

This video is a parody of The Lion King, recreated as a dramatic trailer using only original footage I filmed in my apartment, with my cat starring as Simba. I focused on dramatic camera angles, music, and editing to transform everyday moments into an epic storyline. The project was a playful experiment in reimagining a well-known film using simple tools, humor, and a subject close to home.

Across photography, video, and sound, I explored a range of experimental techniques to engage with themes drawn from pop culture, science fiction, and media parody. From photographic composites to a stop-motion Star Wars animation and a reimagined Lion King trailer, each project was an opportunity to play with familiar imagery in new and unexpected ways. Through this process, I aimed to balance humor and creativity while developing a deeper understanding of visual storytelling.
